North Caucasus Expedition: Jeep Tour to Elbrus

A week in the North Caucasus (Stavropol Krai, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia) will open up a new world for you with its centuries-old traditions, amazingly pristine nature, national cuisine, and most importantly — its warm and hospitable people. You will experience Caucasian hospitality for yourself, you will be able to personally learn what the life of people living in the Caucasus is really like, and — get ready to hear many legends.

Our professional team will take care of your vacation. We are responsible for safety on the route, the technical condition of the vehicles, hotel bookings and accommodation, meals in cafes and restaurants, and organizing picnics in nature. Each of our vehicles is equipped with radios. On the road, you will be treated to an excursion into the history of the regions we visit, an interesting travel story.

You will travel in comfortable and safe off-road vehicles Toyota Land Cruiser 200, prepared for long expeditions. Our jeep tour is not limited to crazy views, insanely beautiful nature and a hundred selected photos, flipping through which you will again and again be overwhelmed by a storm of emotions and memories. Our tour is also an immersion into the culture and ethnography of the visited regions, a gastronomic pleasure, and an excursion into history!

Unique waterfalls, rafting on a mountain river, horseback riding — it is impossible to describe the emotions that are guaranteed to overwhelm you on our tour.

Together with our team, you will visit the highest dormant volcano in the Caucasus, which is also the highest peak in Europe — Elbrus! Jeep Tour Program

Day 1

Meeting at the airport/railway station of Mineralnye Vody. Departure towards the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Arkhyz village.

Day 2

We will visit the Sofia Waterfalls, take a walk to their foot, drive off-road to the White Waterfall. If desired, we will go on an incredible rafting trip on a mountain river.

Day 3

On this day we will visit the amazingly beautiful gorge of the Khudes River, admire Elbrus from a height of 2000 meters above sea level from the Nazaly-Kolbashi tract or the Gumbashi Pass. In the evening we will find ourselves in the picturesque city of Kislovodsk, walk along its streets and breathe in the scent of the Tsarist era.

Day 4

This day will be full of off-road driving, crazy mountain views and waterfalls of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. We will visit the Dzhily-Su and Tuzluk-Shapa waterfalls, Gedmysh, drive through several mountain passes up to 3000 meters above sea level and reach the village of Elbrus.

Day 5

On this day we will take a little break from off-roading and immerse ourselves in the world of mountain conquerors. We will take a cable car to the Gara-Bashi station, located at an altitude of 3850 meters above sea level. Next, we will offer an incredible ride on a Ratrak (mountain snowcat) to an altitude of 4200 m to the "Shelter of Eleven". From this observation deck, views of the highest peaks of the Caucasus Range open up. "Silence and freedom" is the motto of this day. Then we will descend into the river valley, where we will be treated to a horse ride along a fairytale ecological trail.

Day 6

On this day we will drive through the Aktoprak Pass. Beautiful views, local stories and legends — all this will accompany us on our way. We will visit the Chegem Waterfalls, after which we will transfer to the Soviet health resort — the city of Nalchik.

Day 7

Return to Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol Krai. Handshakes and hugs, promises to return and mutual gratitude for a wonderfully spent week.

The expedition price includes

• Professional driver-guide accompaniment throughout the tour
• Transfer along the entire route in a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 off-road vehicle (3-4 people per vehicle)
