About our adventure
Expedition program
VIP Expedition "Great Patagonia: Ice, Rocks and Wild Nature"
Route: Argentina (El Calafate, El Chaltén) → Chile (Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine, Punta Arenas) → Argentina (El Calafate)
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
Difficulty: Moderate
This journey is created for those who want to see Patagonia in all its grandeur. You will encounter famous granite peaks, the thunder of collapsing glaciers, encounters with the native inhabitants of the steppe and ocean, as well as a true safari-style trekking in search of one of the planet's most graceful predators — the puma.
Expedition in Comfortable Vehicles
All transfers according to the program are carried out in a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 — a comfortable minibus prepared for long expeditions. You will see the country not from an airplane window, but through tinted glass, stopping wherever your soul desires a photo. In hard-to-reach locations (puma tracking, glacier excursions), all-wheel drive off-road vehicles are used.
Day 1: Arrival in Patagonia and Meeting the Glacier
Location: El Calafate (Argentina) — Perito Moreno Glacier
Your adventure begins at El Calafate airport. We will meet you and immediately head to the main jewel of Argentina — the Perito Moreno Glacier. This is one of the few glaciers in the world that continues to advance. You will walk along a network of walkways to see the 60-meter ice wall from different angles and hear the thunderous crash of ice blocks falling into the water. For the most daring, a mini-trekking on the ice with crampons is available as an option.
- Transfer: El Calafate Airport — Hotel.
- Activity: Walk along the glacier walkways.
- Night: Hotel in El Calafate.
Day 2: Trekking Capital and Meeting Fitz Roy
Location: Transfer to El Chaltén (Argentina) — Laguna Capri
In the morning we will make a scenic drive (about 3 hours) to the town of El Chaltén, located at the foot of the Fitz Roy mountain range. This place is called the trekking capital of Patagonia. After checking in and a light lunch, we will take an acclimatization hike to Laguna Capri. This is a short but beautiful hike, offering the first stunning views of the needle-like peaks of Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy reflected in the turquoise water.
- Transfer: El Calafate → El Chaltén.
- Trekking: Laguna Capri (about 3 hours).
- Night: 3* Hotel (2 nights).
Day 3: The Legendary Laguna de los Tres
Location: El Chaltén (Los Glaciares National Park)
This day is the highlight for all hikers. We set off on the classic route to Laguna de los Tres. The trail winds through beech forests and moraines before reaching the final steep climb. The reward for your efforts is an incredible view of Mount Fitz Roy rising above an emerald lake. You will see the very perspective that adorns thousands of postcards and inspires travelers from all over the world. Lunch — a picnic with a view of the peak.
- Trekking: 12-15 miles (20-25 km), 8-9 hours.
- Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch.
- Night: 3* Hotel.
Day 4: Crossing into Chile and Preparing for Safari
Location: El Chaltén — Puerto Natales (Chile)
In the morning you will have time for a leisurely breakfast, after which we will head to the Chilean border. We will cross the Patagonian steppe and arrive in Puerto Natales — a colorful port city on the shores of the Última Esperanza fjord. This is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. In the evening we will hold a briefing dedicated to tomorrow's puma search and check your photo equipment.
- Transfer: El Chaltén → Puerto Natales (5-6 hours with border crossing).
- Night: 3* Hotel in Puerto Natales (2 nights).
Day 5: In the Kingdom of the Puma (Torres del Paine)
Location: Torres del Paine National Park (Chile)
Departure before dawn to catch the sunrise and the hours of greatest predator activity. Accompanied by a professional biologist-guide and experienced trackers, we set out in search of pumas. We will explore the park in 4×4 vehicles and make short hikes, watching guanacos — the puma's main prey. If you're lucky, you will witness unique scenes of wildlife. Besides pumas, the park will greet you with the famous "Towers" (Torres), horned peaks (Cuernos), and turquoise lakes. Between searches — observation of Andean condors and Patagonian foxes.
- Activity: Puma tracking (up to 8-9 hours).
- Meals: Breakfast (early lunch box), snacks in the field.
- Night: 3* Hotel in Puerto Natales.
Day 6: Penguins, Sea Lions and the Magellan Strait
Location: Punta Arenas — Magdalena and Marta Islands
Early transfer to Punta Arenas — one of the largest cities on the Patagonian coast. From here we embark on a sea cruise. On a speedboat we will cross the Magellan Strait and land on Magdalena Island, home to a colony of Magellanic penguins numbering over 60,000 individuals. You can walk just a few meters away from these amusing birds. Then we will visit Marta Island to see huge Patagonian sea lions, as well as many seabirds: cormorants, Dominican gulls. In the strait waters we will observe whales (humpback or sei) and dolphins.
- Activity: Sea cruise 5-6 hours + landing on islands.
- Night: 3* Hotel in Punta Arenas.
Day 7: Farewell to Patagonia
Location: Punta Arenas (Chile) — El Calafate (Argentina) — departure
Enjoy a final breakfast with a view of the strait, souvenir shopping, or a walk along the Punta Arenas waterfront, from where expeditions to Antarctica once departed. Return transfer by car to El Calafate airport (Argentina). Departure to Buenos Aires.

P.S. Want to extend the magic of adventure?
Patagonia is just one part of amazing South America. To make your impressions truly grand, we recommend combining this tour with our week-long journey through Brazil. You will see how the cold grandeur of the Andes contrasts with the hot passion of the tropics.
Imagine: a week after meeting pumas and glaciers, you find yourself in a completely different world. Just one flight — and you are no longer on the steppe under the icy wind, but in the jungles of the Pantanal, watching jaguars and caimans. Then — the roar of Iguazu Falls, more powerful than any in the world. And the finale will be the rhythms of samba on the beaches of Rio and the futuristic skyscrapers of São Paulo.
All logistics are already thought out. Both tours are operated by our team, so you don't have to worry about connections. Contact us to book both at once!
Two weeks — two universes. Allow yourself to discover South America completely!
